Hypothesis testing in networks

It is crucial to have random controls in the study of biological systems. The set of figures on our main page demonstrates hypothesis testing through appropriate network null models. The figures show an empirical dolphin social network from Doubtful Sound, New Zealand, its random graph counterpart and its random modular graph counterpart.
